Jess Vanessa graduated form UNLV with a BFA and is currently a freelance illustrator residing in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Much of her illustrative work is primarily done in gouache and illustrator. Her fine art work is primarily in painting, drawing, paper cutting. The subject of her work being the multiplicity of xicano identity and empowerment. The objective of her work is to represent the tie of cultures, practices and beliefs within xicano communities in the United States of America.
